Strengthening Social Protection for Workers in Georgia Report II: Actuarial assessment of the proposed unemployment insurance scheme

The report presents the key results of the actuarial assessment of a proposed unemployment insurance scheme in Georgia. In consultation with the key stakeholders, three design options of the prospective unemployment insurance scheme have been formulated. The main purpose of this actuarial assessment is to evaluate the contribution rates which ensure the financial sustainability of the scheme under the three design options.
