Rights at work: Support the Implementation of the Sustainability Compact. A Sustainability Compact to promote continuous improvements in labour rights and factory safety in the Ready Made Garment and Knitwear Industry in Bangladesh was launched on 8 July 2013.

Work in Freedom, Phase II - Fair recruitment and decent work for women migrant workers in South Asia and the Middle East
The Work in Freedom is an integrated programme to support mobility by choice among women and girls from countries of origin (India, Bangladesh and Nepal) to decent jobs with safety and dignity of workers in destination countries (India, Lebanon and Jordan) through fair recruitment processes.

Improving Working Conditions in the Ready-Made Garment Sector in Bangladesh - Phase II
Improving Working Conditions in the Ready-Made Garment Sector Programme In Bangladesh is an initiative of the Government of Bangladesh, implemented by International Labour Organization and funded by Canada, the Netherlands and the UK. The three-and-a-half year initiative focuses on improving RMG factory building safety, workers’ rights and overall working conditions in Bangladesh.

Skills 21 project is a joint initiative of the Government of Bangladesh and the International Labour Organization (ILO), funded by the European Union. The project seeks to increase productivity and employment opportunities for young people through support for the development of an inclusive technical and vocational training system responding to the needs of the labour market.

Application of Migration Policy for Decent Work for Migrant Workers
The project will help the Government of Bangladesh to operationalize policy and legal measures developed by earlier ILO initiatives, including, the Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Policy 2016 and the Overseas Employment and Migrants Act 2013.
Promoting Social Dialogue and Harmonious Industrial Relations in Bangladesh Ready-Made Garment Industry
The initiative will work to enhance workplace rights and industrial relations in the Bangladesh Ready-Made Garment Sector primarily through improved dialogue between employers and workers, particularly at workplace level.
Developing a National Employment Injury Insurance (EII) Scheme for the Bangladesh Ready-Made Garment Sector
This initiative supports the political willingness of the Bangladesh government and social partners to adopt a national employment injury insurance scheme and to set up the public institution required for its implementation.
Country Level Engagement and Assistance to Reduce Child Labour (CLEAR Project) - ILO IPEC/FPRW
To improve the capacity of 10 target countries to reduce child labour, including its worst forms. The Bangladesh component of the project is based on the National Child labour Elimination Policy and the National Plan of Action (NPA). Project components are designed to make direct contribution to the implementation of the NPA.

The Better Work Bangladesh programme (BWB) is a partnership between the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), aims to contribute to improving the life of the workers, their families and their communities, and increase the competitiveness of the ready-made garment sector in Bangladesh.
RMG Centre of Excellence (COE) Project
The RMG Center of Excellence (COE) Project is designed to establish in Bangladesh a replicable model of an industry-driven training and support services Centre of Excellence (COE) for the Ready Made Garment sector. This will implement certified training within the national skills development policy (NSDP) of Bangladesh.
