The main objective of this assignment is the development of a National Apprenticeship Policy (NAP) for The Bahamas and its respective action plan. The NAP should be elaborated following a participatory, consultative, and technically informed planning process, including extensive consultations with the main stakeholders. New extended deadline for submission of proposal: 10 March 2023.

Unemployment insurance in the Caribbean: An urgent call to protect workers and their families
A major social protection gap in the Caribbean is the protection of the unemployed, which is the least developed social security branch in the subregion, as recognized in the ILO Social Security (Minimum Standards) Convention No. 102.
